Graylog default password & login
Log management platform. Default admin / admin is shipped via root_password_sha2 in server.conf — must be overridden before exposing.
Use these credentials for the very first login to Graylog only. The full vendor documentation linked below explains how to rotate them and harden the install.
Notes & recovery
Set root_password_sha2 in /etc/graylog/server/server.conf to the SHA-256 of your new password.
Official documentation →Change the default immediately
Anyone with internet access can try the published default on Graylog. Set a strong, unique password the moment you finish first-time setup, ideally before exposing the service to your LAN.
