What gets reset
Wipes user accounts, network settings and the activation status — the device returns to "inactive" and demands re-activation via SADP tool.
Brand-specific notes
Devices made after 2015 ship in "inactive" state — there is no factory admin until you activate via SADP / the web UI. Legacy 12345 only applies to pre-activation units.
