Step-by-step guide to open ports on your QNAP (QTS/QuTS hero 5.2.0 and later (5.2.x 5.3.x 6.0.0)) router for Minecraft, Xbox, PlayStation, or security cameras.
1Find your IP and Login
Open your web browser and navigate to your router. Log in using the default username (admin) and password (Cloud Key of NAS (uppercase letters without any special characters) [ex: Cloud Key = Q1234-5678 / password = Q12345678]).
2Locate the Port Forwarding Section
Look for a menu named "Port Forwarding", "NAT", "Virtual Servers", or "Applications & Gaming" in the advanced settings.
3Add a New Rule
Create a new port forwarding rule. Enter the port number you want to open and the local IP address of your device (e.g., your PC or console).
4Save and Apply
Save your settings and reboot the router if necessary. Your ports are now open!
